Castle - July, 2005

On July 17th, we took both the 172SP (21483) and the 182T (51732) to Castle air force base (closed now) near Merced California to go visit the air museum.  We had a ball!  The temperature got up to about 106°F, but we had a good time none the less.  Some pictures are show below.

Castle Airport Information

Kristle, the pilot in the 182T, is working on her high-performance certification with her boyfriend James (a CFI at Ahart Aviation).  Sue, my wife, is working on her private pilot's license.  I was able to give her a lesson on the way to Castle.  It was pretty cool since Sue did her first landing back at Livermore on our return leg.
